Profile’s Linear Line-Up Expands

New to our Profile Monolithic glass line, Chase textures are precise linear compositions with impressive visual dimension and stunning optical appeal.

CastGlass Profile Monolithic glass is defined by crisp linear textures, each with its own sculptural dimensionality. Profile textures are a versatile way to diffuse light, create privacy, and bring clean linear geometry to indoor and outdoor spaces.

Now, three new additions—Chase 12, Chase 25 and Chase 50—expand the Profile family with a series of kiln cast glass textures that have high visual impact but small- to mid-scale dimensional profiles.

2

The new Chase designs are the result of sophisticated F+S mold-making and manufacturing processes that enable us to create flawless linear textures and dynamic optical effects without relying on high-relief glass dimensionality. Production innovations unique to F+S ensure the precise beauty of each glass lite.

2

Three Chase textures are standard: Chase 12, Chase 25 and Chase 50. The numbers correspond to the spacing of each texture’s linear elements (Chase 12 = 0.5in [12.7mm]; Chase 25 = 1.0in [25.4mm]; Chase 50= 2.0in [50.8mm]).

5

All three Chase textures offer multiple ways to achieve different end results.

6

They can be specified in both vertical and horizontal orientations.

7

They’re available in 6mm, 10mm, and 12mm glass thicknesses.

7

And they’re offered in three glass types: Clear, Low Iron, and our new Greytone glass.

7

Launching simultaneously with Chase, Greytone is our newest CastGlass Monolithic glass type. As an alternative to Clear or Low Iron glass, its inherent grey tint enhances the linear motifs of each Chase texture.

7

Greytone is a beautiful way to add privacy, create atmosphere, and/or influence the mood of a space.

7

Like all Profile Monolithic glass, the new Chase textures can be used for partitions, columns, railings, doors, water features, architectural accents, and other custom applications—indoors and out.

The glass can be used with commonly available glass hardware to address a wide range of glass mounting and installation scenarios.

Chase textures and Greytone glass bring a whole new level of design versatility to this already versatile line.
