Paul Tuttle, the Super Z
Chair is among Tuttle’s signature pieces, licensed for production
exclusively by Forms+Surfaces.
The Super Z Chair is a dynamic composition that pairs stainless steel with
gently curved wood. Designed in 1996, it is the culmination of an idea
Tuttle began exploring with the “Z” Chair in the 1960s and for which he won
the prestigious Carson Pirie Scott Young Designer Award in 1966.
Consistent with all of Tuttle’s designs—elegant, sophisticated, refined,
delightful—the Super Z Chair is as functional as it is inventive and
beautiful. Each exquisitely detailed chair is made to order.
