Opened in late 2004, Presbyterian Hospital
Huntersville demonstrates Forms+Surfaces’ ability to offer matching
design elements in different materials and for varying applications.
The hospital selected elevator interiors, wall facings and privacy
glass all using the same distinctive Chardonnay and Champagne
patterns.
A customized version of our CabForms® Series 3000 elevator interiors
was specified in mahogany veneer with Chardonnay pattern stainless
steel accent panels. Champagne pattern stainless steel—a pattern
similar to Chardonnay except oriented vertically—was used as a vibrant
wall facing in the facility’s reception areas. Transitioning from
stainless steel to glass, the Champagne pattern is seen yet again in
the lobby’s feature wall and in the privacy panes separating offices
from public areas. Outside the front entrance, Buttler™ ash
receptacles are on hand to keep sidewalk and landscape areas clean.
Forms+Surfaces’ products made it easy to create a consistent design
theme while also addressing the durability and maintenance needs of a
modern healthcare environment.
