Houston Memorial Park Overview

Opened in 1924, Houston Memorial Park is one of the largest urban parks in the United States, covering approximately 1,466 acres. The popular park is visited more than 4 million times a year — by golfers, cyclists, tennis players, picnickers and runners — and was the recent beneficiary of a $10 million capital improvement campaign.

Along with a new bridge, additional pedestrian and cycling trails have been added throughout the park, which beautifully incorporate Forms+Surfaces Light Column Pedestrian Lighting. These minimalist fixtures are durable and integrate seamlessly with the natural landscape.
