Mills-Peninsula Medical Center

Mills-Peninsula Medical Center Overview

When the old 1950’s Mills-Peninsula Hospital was rated in a California seismic study as a “collapse hazard”, architects Anshen + Allen (now a part of Stantec) designed a new building that not only met stringent 2030 standards for earthquake safety, but also placed patient comfort as a top priority.

The $488.6 million project in Burlingame, California, incorporated Forms+Surfaces LEVELe Elevator interiors in Bonded Bronze with Dark Patina and Charleston pattern. Handrail panels and Round handrails, both in Stainless Steel with Satin finish, accent the center of the cabs.
