Located in Fairfax County near Dulles
Airport, the Woodland Park development includes office buildings, a
hotel, a child learning facility and 400 multi-family apartments.
Landscape architect EDAW asked Forms+Surfaces to provide custom site
amenities for recreational areas adjacent to the residential units.
The installation included benches in curved and straight
configurations as well as a unique pavilion structure. All products
were crafted in durable steel, with Forms+Surfaces’ renowned
fabrication and welding skills evident throughout. Designed to project
a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere, the benches were given a bright
yellow powdercoat with the pavilion coated a contrasting purple. A
great place for children to play, these attractive communal areas at
Woodland Park are sure to appeal to residents of all ages.
