The New York Hall of Science originally
opened with displays on space and space travel for the 1964 World’s
Fair. Now considered to be one of America’s best science museums, the
Hall features more than 400 hands-on exhibits that explore the wonder
and excitement of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics.
Contributing to the visitor’s experience is the surrounding
architecture: the building and grounds have been tremendously improved
with an award-winning expansion and renovation project designed by Polshek Partnership.
At Forms+Surfaces, we pride ourselves on keeping pace with science and
technology. So we consider it a feather in our cap that the Hall
relies on the pristine design and high performance of two of our most
popular stainless steel products: Foundation benches and Universal
receptacles.
If you’ve got a project that’s ready for blast off—or if you’re hoping
to discover site furniture that demonstrates adaptive capabilities in
some of the most demanding environments on Earth—we invite you to
explore our interactive collections. We’re confident we’ll launch your
expectations to new heights! |
