Designed to showcase the diversity of
marine life, the Pittsburgh Zoo’s PPG Aquarium also demonstrates the
diverse applications of Forms+Surfaces’ Arcus Information System.
Customized Arcus wall units with their own internal lighting are
mounted in a faux stone substrate. Individual sign panels provide
visitors with information highlighting the varied marine species on
display. If exhibits change, the system’s modular design makes it easy
to replace existing panels with whatever updated information is
required.
