One of New York’s oldest
public spaces, Battery Park is a cradle of City history and a gateway
to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and other important landmarks.
Forms+Surfaces’ Urban Renaissance receptacles were chosen to control
litter throughout this expansive 23 acre site. Made from powdercoated
stainless steel, Urban Renaissance is able to provide durability and
easy maintenance in a waterfront setting that receives more than four
million visitors each year. Great looking as well as functional, the
receptacles’ classic architectural detailing also fits beautifully in
a space that’s been a centerpiece of New York City’s cultural heritage
for more than three hundred years.
