The Clinton Presidential Center is set amidst a prominent 28-acre public riverfront park with sloping lawns, festival spaces and thematic gardens. This significant addition to the city of Little Rock is destined to be an important gathering place and resource for residents, visitors, scholars, public officials and diplomats for many years to come. Lighting the way through the Center’s courtyards, walkways and celebrated new open spaces is the Light Column pedestrian fixture from Forms+Surfaces.

The straightforward, minimalist design of the Light Column compliments the bridge-like form of the new Presidential Library and the historic Choctaw Station equally well. However, for LEED certified projects such as this one, sustainability—in addition to aesthetics—is an important consideration when selecting building products. The Light Column’s durable stainless steel construction brings with it the guarantee of high recycled material content and a long life-cycle, making it the ideal candidate.
