Located adjacent to the Wiesenthal
Center’s Museum of Tolerance, Yeshiva University Boy’s High School
teaches traditional Jewish scholarship in an academically challenging
environment.
The challenge of finding suitable outdoor lighting for the school’s
major renovation was met with Light Column pedestrian fixtures from Forms+Surfaces.
Throughout the project, architects worked to get the most out of the
building site’s limited space. The Light Column provided large-scale
visual impact while still maintaining a look of openness in the
courtyards and landscape areas. Made entirely from stainless steel,
the fixtures are extremely durable and their simple design fits
perfectly with the buildings’ contemporary architecture.
Forms+Surfaces’ Light Columns have helped Yeshiva develop a new,
state-of-the art facility where comprehensive religious and secular
studies create an enriching high school experience.
