University Health System - Robert B. Green Campus

The University Health System recently underwent a Capital Improvement Program that included renovations to the Robert B. Green Campus, a clinical pavilion at University Hospital in San Antonio.

The funding included an “Art of Healing” program to incorporate public artwork to uplift the spirit and provide positive distraction for people undergoing stressful times. Forms+Surfaces' ViviSpectra Spectrum and ViviGraphix Graphica glass were used in two prominent works of art –Writing on the Wall, which features inspirational quotes, and an untitled feature wall of photographs showcasing the diversity of the patients, staff and families of UHS.

Both works were created by San Antonio artist Chuck Ramirez who had been a patient at UHS and passed away in 2010.
