Helio Bollards: Elegant Protection in 3 Security Core Options

All Helio Security Bollards are available in illuminated and non-illuminated designs. Illuminated bollards feature a frosted acrylic lens, 180˚ or 360˚ light distribution, and Cree® LEDs in 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. Illuminated bollards provide downward-facing light to help minimize light pollution and glare.

Non-illuminated variations are a natural companion to their brighter counterparts.

• The M30-P1/K4 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 30 mph (48 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)

• The M40-P1/K8 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 40 mph (64 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)

• The M50-P1/K12 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 50 mph (80 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)

Typical applications requiring these security ratings include areas that may allow vehicles to pick up speed: high-value properties and large gathering areas, for example, as well as federal buildings in the case of the M50/K12.
