Helio M30/K4 Security Bollards, Series 900, and Helio M40/K8 and M50/K12 Security Bollards, Series 1200, bring the F+S security bollard program to a whole new level.

Helio M30/K4 Security Bollards, Series 900, are 9.25” (23.5 cm) in diameter, and Helio M40/K8 & M50/K12 Security Bollards, Series 1200, are 11.5" (29.2 cm) in diameter; all have embedded security cores. Stainless steel columns and head caps are standard with a Satin finish though powdercoat colors are an option as well.

All Helio Security Bollards are available in illuminated and non-illuminated designs. Illuminated bollards feature a frosted acrylic lens, 180˚ or 360˚ light distribution, and Cree® LEDs in 3000K warm white and 4000K neutral white. Illuminated bollards provide downward-facing light to help minimize light pollution and glare.

Non-illuminated variations are a natural companion to their brighter counterparts.

Helio Security Bollards incorporate pre-engineered and fully-tested embedded security cores. Three security core options achieve different security ratings: M30/K4, M40/K8 or M50/K12.
  • The M30-P1/K4 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 30 mph (48 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)
  • The M40-P1/K8 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 40 mph (64 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)
  • The M50-P1/K12 rating indicates that the bollards are successful in stopping a 15,000 lb. (6,800 kg) vehicle traveling at a minimum test velocity of 50 mph (80 km/h) in less than 3.3 feet (1 meter)

Typical applications requiring these security ratings include areas that may allow vehicles to pick up speed: high-value properties and large gathering areas, for example, as well as federal buildings in the case of the M50/K12. The Helio family also includes Helio Bollards, Series 600, that are 6" (15.2 cm) in diameter and can be specified in illuminated and non-illuminated configurations.

All Helio Bollards are 40" (101 cm) high, making it easy to carry a unified look across a project. Series 1200, 900 and 600 bollards without security cores, with or without illumination, are also available.
