New x 2: ViviChrome Metallic Glass + Diamalex Finish

The launch of ViviChrome Metallic glass also marks the launch of Diamalex, a stunning new finish developed to enhance the metallic colors of the glass. 

The Diamalex finish has a subtle texture that mimics the feel of woven materials or finely stippled metal. Comprised of tiny faceted dots, the non-directional pattern brings a unique visual quality to the glass while effectively combatting fingerprints and smudges.

As light sweeps across the glass, each dot captures light and contributes to the surface’s radiant glow.

ViviChrome Metallic glass expands our ViviChrome line by introducing metallic colors. Inspired by F+S architectural metals, Metallic glass is available in six colors that coordinate with our stainless steel and Fused Metals: Nickel Bronze, White Gold, Stainless Steel, Nickel Silver, Bronze, and Graphite (top to bottom, left to right below). ViviChrome Metallic colors also coordinate with our ViviTela Mesh glass family.

Increasing the possibilities, ViviChrome Metallic glass is available in two configurations.

The Reflect configuration is comprised of a color interlayer between a transparent lite of glass and a reflective glass backer. It’s typically used when the glass will be installed against another surface—on a wall or column or in an elevator interior, for example.

The View configuration allows light to pass through the glass; comprised of a color interlayer between two transparent lites of glass, it’s a beautiful choice for doors, room dividers, partitions, and other applications where semi-privacy is desired. 

Together, F+S metals + ViviChrome Metallic glass + the Diamalex finish = stunning opportunities for coordinating materials and aesthetics across a project. For inspiration, browse the examples that follow:

Finally, expanding the potential even further, ViviChrome Metallic glass can be used in many F+S Systems, including LEVELe and LEVELr Wall Cladding, LEVELe and LEVELr Columns, and LEVELe and LEVELc Elevator Interiors. It can also be specified as loose lites for custom applications in sizes up to 60” x 120” (1524mm x 3048mm).
