Quadra Family Goes to New Lengths

Quadra is a minimalist modular family comprised of configurable seats, tables and planters. Initially launched with modules in a 17" size, new 4-foot modules expand the line’s versatility and invite you to take your seating designs to exciting new lengths.

1

Think of Quadra modules as building blocks for shaping site-specific gathering areas. With two sizes now available, the creative potential of this adaptable group has expanded significantly.

Individual Quadra modules are cast of TENSL Ultra High Performance Concrete (UHPC), an exceptionally durable material that performs beautifully in outdoor environments. Modules can be used in multiple orientations, customized with different inset materials, and combined in any number of ways to create unique seating layouts.

1

Module orientation is key to Quadra’s configurable format.

1

For use as seats and tables, modules can be specified with the aperture in the casting facing front to back. This orientation allows for an airiness that lightens the look of the TENSL form—a benefit especially when units are installed end-to-end, and a great way to incorporate robust UHPC seating while taking up less visual space.

1

Modules can also be specified with the aperture oriented top to bottom, an option that makes customization easy: a variety of standard materials, or a planter liner, can be inset into the top opening to create distinctive seating, tables and planters.

1

Wood insets have slats of FSC® Recycled reclaimed Teak with a natural oiled finish. Aluminum insets are powdercoat finished and come in a wide range of standard and custom colors. Insets of TENSL UHPC can be specified with or without a surface pattern. Planter liners can be specified with or without drain holes.

1

The diverse inset options have the added advantage of taking the line beyond a strictly concrete aesthetic with materials that introduce different textures and pops of color and/or bring foliage to seating arrangements.

1

The top-aperture configuration has a solid appearance—most notable when modules are used in end-to-end runs—and is ideal for dividing space or creating defined seating areas.

1

Quadra modules are sized for cohesive combinations. The original 17" module can sit separate from or butted up against the new 4-foot variation. Powdercoated aluminum bases add just under an inch to the overall height of the TENSL UHPC forms.

1

Minimalist. Modular. Adaptable. Quadra offers a cohesive form language for creating seats, tables and planters. And now, the line gives you more ways than ever to create site-specific meeting spaces, huddle zones, and other gathering areas.
