Cambridge Public Library – Valente Branch

Project Overview

The Cambridge Public Library is a community-oriented resource that works as a unified system, with a strong main library and six branch libraries throughout Cambridge, each tailored to the needs of its immediate area.

The 10,000-square-foot Valente Branch Library is an anchor in a much larger complex. It serves both the greater community and nearby schools and provides learning spaces for families and patrons of all ages. The building’s form, along with an adjacent academic wing, create a crescent-shaped plaza that invites the community to engage.

Outdoors, our Dash benches bring opportunities for reading and gathering beyond the library walls and offer places to enjoy the welcoming surroundings.
