Project Overview

Located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Frick Environmental Center is a welcome facility, education hub, and gateway to one of the city’s largest parks. Designed to be LEED Platinum and Living Building Challenge certified, the award-winning Center serves as a living classroom for science and nature-related exploration.

All building materials and furnishings were sourced within 1,200 miles of the site. Forms+Surfaces provided bike racks, receptacles, and benches with custom donor plates that add a personal touch to the setting.
