JILA - University of Colorado at Boulder

Project Overview

JILA, once named the Joint Institute for Labratory Astrophysics, pairs the physics institute of the University of Colorado at Boulder with the National Institute of Standards and Technology and is located on the CU-Boulder campus. The research done by JILA has since expanded to include atomic and molecular physics, biophysics and precision measurement.

The state-of-the-art facilities at JILA include ViviGraphix Gradiance glass with a custom pattern interlayer in both the clean room laboratory spaces and the common area meeting rooms. The glass partition walls provide partial privacy while tying the spaces together by incorporating the same pattern throughout.
