Connect with us at events across the country, interact with our products, and meet members of team F+S. We’re on the road a lot in 2015 and would love to have you join us.

Already a busy year, here’s where we’ve been recently:

We had a colorful stop in Houston, at IIDA’s 2015 Product Runway, a fashion competition that challenges design teams to use architectural materials instead of textiles to create original handmade garments. This year’s designs had to incorporate an assigned color and emotion, and use sponsored hard- and soft-good materials for no less than 80% of the final creations.

The color chosen for our team was Coffee Bean, and the emotion was optimistic. F+S was paired with WHR Architects who used triangles of our Fused Nickel Bronze in their dress, and carpet materials provided by Milliken Carpet to fashion a coordinating skirt and jacket.

The outcome was breathtaking! In fact, in the April 17 show, our team won the Best in Show award, as well as Best Runway Performance. We can’t wait to participate again next year!

A week later (April 22-24) found us at the 2015 Texas ASLA Conference in Galveston, one of the largest regional ASLA events in the country. As a Classroom Sponsor, our 20’x20’ booth gave visitors ample chance to check out our newest products and meet our design team.
