Top 3 Reasons to Visit Us at the ASLA Expo

There are many reasons to stop by Forms+Surfaces Booth (#1425) at the ASLA 2013 Annual Meeting & Expo, which will be held November 15-18 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Here are three of the most compelling:

1.    Experience New Site Furniture

At this year’s show, F+S will be previewing a number of exciting products that have never been seen before. Not only are we looking forward to unveiling these new designs, but we’d also like to get your feedback on them.

• Soleris Sunshade – Our new umbrella offers a unique design, sturdy construction, and panels in a range of material options including marine-grade fabrics and powdercoated aluminum.

• Cordia Family– As versatile as it is timeless, the Cordia family pairs a traditional sensibility with a contemporary point of view. Family members include backed and backless benches with wood or metal slats; litter and recycling receptacles in wood and metal variations; and an LED light bollard.

• Rincon LED Bollard - Built to high performance standards, this bollard features a classic shape, durable stainless steel construction and is powered by energy-efficient LED technology.

Our booth will also feature our Tangent Table Ensemble (with the new Soleris Sunshade), our slim LED Tangent Bollard and our Summit Bike Rack.

2.    Interact with our new Design Tools

In addition to our site products, two new interactive design tools will be on display at ASLA.

The first can be seen in the booth itself. A gorgeous 30-ft. long ViviGraphix glass wall will span the width of our booth. The wall features a graphic interlayer comprised of ZOOM Macro photography – in this case, a detailed close-up of Dwarf Sedge grass.

The wall is an example of what can be done with our ZOOM Digital Darkroom, a remarkable online tool that lets users scale and crop ZOOM Macro and Panoramic images in limitless ways to create a personalized view from a single photograph. We previewed ZOOM at our Connect Pop-Up showroom in Chicago this past summer with designers (to rave reviews), and we can’t wait to show it to you at ASLA. We plan on launching ZOOM Digital Darkroom in early 2014.

Additionally, we will be introducing F+S’s new Augmented Reality App at the show. This amazing application allows users to “visualize” 3D, full-scale models of our site furnishings in any setting by using a smart phone or tablet. 3.    Win a Custom Republic Bike

Visitors to our booth can drop off their business cards to be entered in the random drawing to win a custom Republic bicycle. The bike will be on display next to our Summit Bike Rack, which is also proudly made in the USA.

The drawing will be held on Sunday, November 17, at approximately 5:00 pm ET in our ASLA Expo booth #1425. The winner does not have to be present for the drawing.
